Lola was born in September of 1975 and is a popular American Features writer of Nigerian origin.

She is a popular figure and her fame is continually growing in the literary world.

Early Life and Education

Ogunnaike has a BA in English Literature from the University of Virginia, and a Master’s degree from the New York University for Journalism.

Lola began covering entertainment news in 1999.

In her time as a journalist, Lola has appeared on NBC’s Today Show as well as MTV. She was also named on the list of “150 Most Influential Blacks in America”.

Lola started her journalism career by writing features reports for the New York Daily News, where she covered news stories about celebrities and entertainment.

Once she finished her work there, she moved to The New York Times and continued writing on entertainment and covering celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Oprah Winfrey and Sting for the Arts and Leisure section of the paper.

Lola then worked with CNN from 2007-2009.
